I’ve always thought that doing the greening thing in healthcare was the ideal setting…I mean, we all know that there’s a link between human and environmental health, so where better to champion greening than in hospitals, where we have a unique, first hand view of human health.
Various medical groups, such as the Ontario Medical Association, regularly publish reports on the health impact of smog, even going as far to put a dollar figure on lost productivity, and recently a study out of McGill University linked air pollution to breast cancer.
