Tell me you already have your Planet In Focus film festival tickets!!!

October 12-16 ,2011 (Toronto, Ontario)

I have been attending this film festival since it started 12 years ago.  They always have fantastic programming on a wide range of environmental topics.  Sadly the title I was looking for “Hospitals Heal the Planet” wasn’t on the list, but I don’t think that movie has been made yet…Anyone interested in working on a script with me?

There are however many dozens of films to choose from including Taking Root: the Vision of Wangari Maathai, Fairy Kings if Trees Could Talk, and Second Nature: The Biomimicry Evolution.  There is also some good children’s films  which I highly recommend as the other selections can be a little on the sad side.

If movies aren’t your thing how about FoodStock happening October 16, 2011 in Honeywood Ontario.  Over 70 top chefs are participating in this event to help demonstrate the link between our food and the land that feeds us.  All I can say is go hungry!!
