Bike Month Bonanza

Bike Month Bonanza

By now, we hope you’ve dusted off your wheels to get the most of Toronto’s prime cycling season. Yes, some hardcore folks know no seasonal limitations for their cycling love. For others, a gentle mist is enough to hop off the hotseat. No matter where you fall on the cycling-confidence-spectrum, Bike Month is for you (especially the ‘mist’ folks).

It kicked off this Monday with Bike To Work Day. Hopefully you got your pancakes. If you missed that, no worries … there are countless events across the city, and two great sessions coming to UHN in June!

Basic Bike Maintenance

June 15, 12-1 pm, Princess Margaret Cancer Research Tower:

Eventbrite - Basic Bike Maintenance Workshop

Advanced Bike Maintenance

June 20, 12-1 pm, Toronto General Hospital:

Eventbrite - Advanced Bike Maintenance Workshop

Any UHN staff or volunteers from any site are welcome to attend for the low price of free. These are both outdoors and interactive. To make sure there’s space to learn, please register with those handy buttons above.

NEW!!! (added June 6th) GROUP RIDES / BIKE POOLS

New this year, Smart Commute clients (UHN is one) will have access to group rides, called ‘Bike Pools‘. Sign up on these Eventbrite links…

Whether or not you are with UHN, there are other ways to get involved (and maybe win something). From the Bike Month website, here are the events happening around Toronto.
